Our Forest School offers children a high standard of care.
By giving the children opportunities to build a sense of independence, self-esteem and team work whilst enjoying the outdoor experience.
Our Forest School playroom contains a large shelter, digging area, small open glade, log circle, Rope Bridge, Bug Hotel and a mud kitchen.
A mixture of hazel, rowan, willow, oak, birch, fig and apple trees gives a small canopy.
Children learn best from first hand experiences, exploring, playing and therefore learning using a range of activities both designed by the leader Ruth.
There are old wood piles to attract insects and small mammals.
The children are encouraged to investigate and explore but also to respect all living things.
